Photography has been an important part of my life since 1985 when I purchased a 35 mm SLR camera. I was preparing for a three week trip to Nigeria as part of a U. S. Information Agency project. Foolishly I took only five rolls of film with me and didn’t use the camera enough before I left to understand how it worked. In contrast, when I spent a similar length of time on a honeymoon in 2000, I exposed close to 40 rolls of film. Clearly I had learned a lot about photography in the 15 years since that trip to Nigeria. I now shoot digital exclusively for both still images and video. I also now use a scanner to capture many of those earlier 35 mm images and the many family photographs from the 19th and early 20th century.  The links to the left will take you to sites where I display my general photography, my best images, and my video.
